We will miss him
We are feeling sadness today as we mourn the loss of our prophet, Gordon B. Hinckley.
But we are happy that he is reunited with his beloved Marjorie.
I love that my kids, as young as they are, know him and love him. Both Porter and Eliza recognize him from his pictures. And when I told them that he passed away they said they were sad. I asked them where he was now, and they told me with a voice of happiness and surety that he is in Heaven.
I have a great memory of sitting on the front row of my stake center in high school and listening to President Hinckley speak to the youth of our stake. It was worth waiting in line for 6 hours to see him up close and personal.
We'll miss his sense of humor, his love for each of us, and his great smile, but look forward to learning more from our next prophet.

As soon as I heard the news I my eyes filled with tears.
Elizabeth,
I remember when President Hinckley spoke to our stake as well. We were so lucky to have that great opportunity.
I feel so blessed that my children too knew who the Prophet was and knows that he lives in Heaven. Thanks for sharing.
Me, too.
Hey I was in the stake center too. Why did you have to wait for 6 hours? I guess I was in the back so obviously I didn't wait in any lines.
