I vote the cranberry juice or if you wanted to omit the sugar, you could try one of the berry syrups that Knotsberry farm makes. It might work, but you would have to take the sugar out or I think it would be too sweet. Let me know how it turns out! Also- I have a couple of measuring cups that list cups and mL/grams etc. If you can't figure it out, I can probably help

I don't know wines very well, but aren't red wines made from grapes? So maybe grape juice would work... This is a total shot in the dark.
Or cranberry juice. That's what one of the substitute lists in one of my cookbooks says for red wine.
