Merry CHRISTmas

I love this time of year and I love my Savior. I am glad for the opportunity to celebrate his birth and hope I instill in my children the importance of Jesus Christ in their lives. I know he is the most important person in my life.

I love to collect nativities and I try to keep them the focal point of my Christmas decorations. The nativities come from all over the world - Jerusalem, Venezuela, somewhere in the Caribbean, Germany (Playmobil), even Texas and China.

My favorites are the Playmobil
and the wood one carved from olive wood from Jerusalem.

Here is my collection. Now I just want to get the Fisher Price Little People one.Merry Christmas! Enjoy it and remember to keep Christ at the center of all your celebrations.

Thanks for the reminder. Merry Christmas to you and your family. I'm so glad we know each other!

That's such a nice tradition. We should move on to something like that if we ever get past our simplistic four foot tall Christmas tree.

I love your nativities. I have so many and some how it just hasn't happened the last two years.

I do have the Fisher Price one and Gabriel played with it a lot since October and I couldn't find the stable this month, just all the small parts. Isn't that a little backwards?!?!? I can hardly wait to see where it finally turns up ... or maybe I can wait, gets scary sometimes how that little brain works!

I assisted with child care on Sunday, and missed Tom not hanging out with me in the hall during Sunday School.

I have the Fisher Price one and that is our only nativity. I think I need to start a collection like yours.

One year Jonathan lost Joseph from our nativity. We found him in the dog food bag around New Years.
